Dear Fellow Musician and Music Teacher,

Over the next few weeks and months, I will be guiding you on a journey of discovery that will lead you to a deeper understanding of an effective yet simple method of teaching. It’s so simple and clear that you will achieve clarity and a sense of calm in your teaching. And the beauty is that the more you can help your young students, the more students will naturally come to you.

I’m so excited to share this knowledge that will enable you to transform the lives of your students, their families, and your community.

Thank you,

Andrew

Teach Music – Change The World!

As a music teacher, you may have been asked to teach younger kids, but it seems so difficult. Most method books seem to be aimed at teenagers, which requires them to read and understand abstract concepts. Preschoolers have so much energy and such short attention spans, is it even possible to get them to play a simple song on piano, guitar, or any other instrument?

For the last ten years, I’ve been specializing in teaching children music. But it wasn’t always easy. It all started when my 3 year old son began asking for piano lessons.

I began interviewing teachers looking for someone for him and couldn’t find anyone with the interest nor the curriculum to work with this age group. After a few months, I decided to go back to teaching myself. You see, I was an education major back in college but later switched to music business and technology. And I had been teaching all along, but usually teens and adults. Preschoolers were a whole new world. I spent years trying other people’s methods and began developing my own.

My wide-angle career experiences started to bear fruit with ideas being pulled in from information design, film composing and arranging, and the months spent in my son’s preschool classroom as he dealt with separation anxiety.

“Andrew’s course makes it easy to teach music to pre-literate kids, opening up an entire market of music previously unreachable.  My student-base almost doubled.  My confidence as a teacher grew.  I can use this forever too.”

“Andrew Ingkavet’s Musicolor Method has been like a music immersion experience for me.  It has brought back the joy and challenge of attempting to master a musical instrument.  When my first grandchild was born in 2009, I was determined to find music curriculum that was fun, energizing, and effective…I think the concept is brilliant!  When I heard that Andrew was launching a Musicolor Method class, I jumped at the opportunity to glean from his expertise. This course has brought me out of retirement to learn many new facets of teaching.  Now I have a multicolored set of skills and resources to draw from.  I’m excited about imparting the joy of music via the Musicolor Method to my three grandchildren and beyond.”
